A: I'm not familiar with Remio and Little Bird but looking at their landing pages we're pretty similar. The big difference is how integrated we are with your mac. You can use Shortcuts, Apple Scripts and you can chat directly with any apps.

1) Are volume requests topped up monthly? 2) If I run out of requests, will meeting recordings be audio-only? A: 1) No it's a one-time use 2) Yes, you need requests to generate meeting reports unless you use local models or your own providers. 3) 1 request = 1 turn of conversation with the AI 4) We don't have a public roadmap but we share a lot on Discord

A: We will never do this for multiple reasons:
1. BYOK is part of what makes Alter different from the mainstream players. 2. It's a guarantee for our lifetime holders to be able to keep using Alter if the worst happen 3. It lets people try Alter for a longer period, thus building trust that can turn into sales later 4. It's a way for people without buying power to use 80% of Alter anyway
