caitQ: Two hour limit?
Hi there, I am testing out the product and I like it, but I'm getting a notification that I can't process videos longer than 2 hours - even on videos that aren't 2 hours. For example, I have one that's 117 minutes, and it won't process it.
Also, I have LOTS of videos that are more than 2 hours and I don't really have a way to split them, which means they're pretty much just not usable for me with this- which stinks. Especially when they're something like 122 minutes. I wish that it would let me process it even knowing the quality might not be as good.

Yes, Reelify currently supports importing videos up to 2 hours each. Just to clarify, that’s a per-video limit, not a monthly cap or a total usage limit.
The quickest workaround is very simple and takes less than 30 seconds:
1. Open the video in QuickTime Player
2. Go to Edit → Trim
3. Save the first chunk under 2 hours
4. Done -- now import that trimmed video into Reelify
This lets you process videos that are slightly over 2 hours without needing a complicated process.
The main reason for the 2-hour per-video limit is reliability. Since Reelify runs the core clipping workflow directly on your Mac, very long videos can lead to longer processing times or stability issues, especially on older Macbook Airs
For the 117-minute video, that normally should not happen. But in some edge cases, the file metadata may report the video as longer than what the visible duration shows, so Reelify may read it as over the limit.
Could you try the QuickTime trim fix on that file too and see if it works?
Also, we do want to make this smoother inside Reelify. One thing we’re looking at is an auto-split workflow, where the app can help split longer videos into under-2-hour chunks before processing. I don’t want to promise an exact timeline yet, but this is very aligned with where we’re improving the product.
