Q: Subject Framing
Hi, I purchased Realify. I love the idea, as it's going to save me from having a subscription to Opus, but I've tried to use it and, for some reason, the framing's out of sync. The subject is on stage speaking, and then when it switches to a different camera angle where he is on the other side of the video frame, the tracking doesn't follow him. It stays in the same position, so it looks like another part of the stage with no one there.
Is there a way to fix that?

Thank you so much for purchasing Reelify - really appreciate it.
Yes, this is something you can fix manually right now using Pro Manual Override.
Auto-framing generally works very well for single-subject tracking, especially when the speaker stays in a fairly stable talking-head or stage position.
With some multi-cam or fast-changing scenes, the speaker position can change suddenly. For those cases, we added Pro Manual Override so you can quickly fine-tune the crop and keep the subject framed correctly before exporting.
We’re also polishing the framing experience for more dynamic footage (along with improving caption placement) in the next updates, so it gets even smoother with the next updates.
Also, if you can, please email us a short sample or screen recording at [email protected], and we’ll take a closer look at your exact case and guide you through the best fix.
