Q: Any plans for different languages?
Hi there. Do you plan to add more languages or only English? My video was in German and the results were useless unfortunately.

Edited May 13, 2026A: Hi there!
Thank you for giving Reelify a try. I’m sorry the first run gave you useless results, but the good news is Reelify can process German videos, it just requires a quick settings change.
By default, the app is heavily optimized for English. If a German video runs through the default setup, the English AI model tries to process it and gets confused, which sounds exactly like what happened here.
To get much better results with non-English languages, you just need to tell the app to use the multilingual models:
1. Install the Pro Captions Engine: In the app, switch to the "Pro Captions Engine" (it handles non-English significantly better than the default).
2. Enable Non-English Mode: In your Settings, toggle on "Non-English Video Mode" before importing your video.
3. Use a clear 10+ minute talking video: The AI needs enough spoken context to find hooks and standalone clip ideas, so clear continuous talking works best.
To be fully transparent: while this specific setup handles German much better, the AI is still natively strongest in English. Because of this, non-English clipping is actively evolving and can sometimes require a bit of experimentation. However, turning these settings on should give you a much better test result.
We are actively improving this over time, so test it out and let me know how the second run goes.

Thank you for the fast response. It worked like a charm despite using a video of only 6 minutes instead of the suggested 10+ minutes. Awesome. I'd like to suggest more subtitle styles and the option to place the subtitles freely because neither like the bottom nor the center position but rather something inbetween. If that could be possible in future updates, that would be awesome. :)
