A tool that would be able to seemlessly transcribe a conference call is a promising concept that would be very useful to me in my line of work. Having tested it on three calls, including a court hearing and a tribunal hearing, I came to a conclusion that this tool still has a long way to go before it can be used in professional settings. While it does a pretty good job transcribing what I say on my microphone, transcribing other speakers leaves a lot to be desired. The accuracy and completeness is perhaps at about 60-70%. Spoken sentences are broken up into multiple lines without any punctuation and since many words are transcribed completely incorrectly, it makes very difficult to refer to this transcription. Perhaps it's because I used it for Australian English, I'm not sure. Speaking of localisation, transcribed dates are shown in the US format, which is quite confusing. I wrote to tech support to get some advice, but I have not received a reply in 5 days now.

Been testing Tier 1 for around 15 hours across mobile and desktop and I'm super glad I grabbed it! Makes taking meeting notes and quick voice memos so much easier.
There are definitely some rough corners that need polish, but for a newer tool it's working surprisingly well.
What I like
- iphone app is great, tried it in 3 live meetings with zero issues
- good transcript accuracy and accurate speaker separation
- being able to prompt the AI to rewrite or update notes directly
- clean sleek design, very comfortable to type in
What I don't
- app settings don't sync between mobile and desktop so you have to do it separately
- no audio import feature for existing recordings
- help docs are missing info like how to tag users
- 60 min recording cap on Tier 1 gets restrictive

Bumping up to Tier 2 for higher limits and to support the devs. Solid app, just needs a bit more time to mature.

Amical is one of my all-time favourite AppSumo purchases. So when I saw a new technology come on to AppSumo from the same founders, I had to check it out. And Prismical has not disappointed.

It is an outstanding with, I think, the best transcription, the greatest accuracy on the market, and, of course, with the option for local storage.
I am, as I'm sure we all are, in meetings constantly. And the ability to transcribe accurately and get the action plans—that's only part of the story. Being able to source locally, to be able to log into multiple calendars, and, incredibly importantly, through MCP, be connected to my overall working brain is just a revelation.
I cannot recommend it enough. Easy five stars from just a fantastic founding team, and I really look forward to using both products.

I have tried a bunch of apps because I’m in meetings constantly, so I'm really glad I tried Prismical!!! It looks very promising (snagged the lifetime deal!) to replace them all. Takes a minute to wrap your head around at first but once it clicks it truly transforms the workflow! The UI is super sleek and modern, the transcription speed is mind-blowing (it transcribed a 1-hour meeting in less than 5 seconds) and connecting ChatGPT directly to my notes and transcripts is a massive win!!
A couple of things that could be improved: tag organization is a bit confusing since I couldn't figure out how to view all tags, and I was unable to create a folder inside another folder. I did just try the iOS app right before writing this review though, and it looks super promising!
I’ve already shared a few improvement ideas with the founder and am holding out for that HubSpot integration. Hoping all promised features roll out soon but all in all - a genuinely great find!

I really wanted to like PrismaCal, and I appreciate what the team is trying to build. But in its current state, it isn’t dependable enough for my workflow.

My biggest issue was transcription reliability. During a roughly 25-minute lag, I stopped the recording—and the final 25 minutes were completely missing. It also did not generate a summary afterward. That makes it difficult to trust for longer calls or anything I may need to reference later.

Other limitations I ran into:

- No persistent AI chat/history connected to the meeting
- Meetings capped at 2 hours - believe it or not we sometimes have strategy sessions that go beyond two hours and we need a note-taker.
- No clear manual sync option; I had to close and reopen the app and hope it synced
- Summary quality and AI chat usefulness did not meet my needs
- No ability to chat with notes and have additional context or info added to notes.
- The experience felt too unreliable for real working calls, where missing content is not acceptable

I’m rooting for the product, but I need a tool that reliably captures the full conversation, syncs predictably, produces usable summaries, and lets me return to meeting context through persistent chat. :(
