Is there a way to to make estimates before sending Invoices? I.e. if I am working on a project with a client, and want to send them an estimate for approval, and once they approve it we can begin the work. Invoice comes after.

Not currently, but estimates are coming as part of the proposals and contracts feature that's already planned...
You'll be able to build a branded proposal/estimate, send it to your client for approval, then convert it straight into an invoice once they approve. Same flow you're describing.
Hi Im interested in your software, but a key thing I need to be able to do is have different VAT rates per item in the invoice. Because Im selling items which are 7% rate, 19% and sometimes zero and these can all be in one transaction with someone.

Invoice tax currently applies at the subtotal level rather than per line item, so a mix of 7%, 19%, and zero rated items in one transaction wouldn't calculate correctly.
However, per-line item tax is planned on the roadmap, it will be done before end of this month but possibly sooner:
I see you've got recurring invoicing functionality but does your app allow for recurring payments? I'm not seeing any info on this so I'm assuming not but figured I'd ask. Also, roughly how far off are you from implementing Estimate functionality? Thanks.

A: Yeah HoneyBill handles recurring invoices I.e where an invoice goes out each cycle and your client pays it manually (Tier 2 feature). True auto-charged recurring payments, where your client authorises once and we collect automatically each cycle, are on the way as Direct Debit Subscriptions.
Is there a way to use HoneyBill as a payment system for memberships? Thanks

Yep, in Settings you can predefine tax labels and amounts (like GST 18%, or split as CGST and SGST) and toggle them on per invoice. For GSTIN, just add yours to your workspace details and your customer’s to their record 🙏
