We're currently awaiting official plugin verification from OpenAI, which will allow users to connect AdaptlyPost directly to ChatGPT without needing to configure a custom MCP server. The underlying integration follows essentially the same flow, and we've tested our agent functionality extensively.
Regarding permissions, the best approach right now is to create a separate AdaptlyPost user...
I'm trying to leave a 5 star review because this is super lit, I don't have to deal with vendor APIs and with MCP access, it's like my social accounts are supercharged! However I just can't write a review?

1. Is Social Inbox in development, and when will it ship?
Yes, we're actively building it. Part of it depends on Meta approving additional permissions, and we don't control how long their review takes. That means we can't give you an exact date, but our best guess is 1-2 months.
Q: For AppSumo Tier 2/3, which exact analytics metrics are available?
For AppSumo Tier 2/3, which exact analytics metrics are available through MCP/API for Instagram Business and LinkedIn Company Pages? Is historical analytics data available through MCP/API, and what retention/date-range limits apply? Can MCP/API retrieve account-level metrics, post-level metrics, follower growth, reach, impressions, profile visits, clicks, video views and engagement? Does the MCP expose inbox/comments/messages, or only publishing and analytics?

A: Hi! Analytics are the same on every tier, and Tier 2 and 3 both include API and MCP access.
Instagram Business, per post: views (covers video views too), reach, likes, comments, shares, saves. LinkedIn Company Pages, per post: impressions, reach, clicks, likes, comments, shares. Account level, both: followers, plus totals and engagement rate across your posts.
