Hi, we’re evaluating AdaptlyPost for managing 3–4 brands via AI/MCP. Could you confirm:
1. Is Social Inbox actively in development, and do you have an approximate release quarter?
2. Will it include comments, mentions and DMs for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other supported platforms?
3. Will AI-assisted replies and comment/DM webhooks be included permanently in current AppSumo LTD tiers?
4. Are approval workflows, RSS, evergreen recycling and content queues also planned as free LTD updates?
5. Besides social listening, are any major future features expected to require extra payment?
6. Will current LTD buyers keep access to future MCP/API improvements without subscription fees?

Thanks for looking at AdaptlyPost for your brands. Here are answers to each question.
1. Is Social Inbox in development, and when will it ship?
Yes, we're actively building it. Part of it depends on Meta approving additional permissions, and we don't control how long their review takes. That means we can't give you an exact date, but our best guess is 1-2 months.
2. Which platforms and message types will it cover?
- Comments: Instagram, Facebook Pages, LinkedIn company pages, YouTube, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon.
- DMs: Instagram and Facebook. Bluesky and Mastodon DMs are planned too.
- Mentions: on platforms whose API provides them, starting with Instagram and Facebook.
- LinkedIn DMs aren't possible. We're an official LinkedIn partner, and LinkedIn doesn't allow DM management through its official API. We also can't read comments on personal LinkedIn profiles, so on LinkedIn the inbox covers company pages only.
- Instagram and Facebook DM rules: Meta only lets businesses reply within 24 hours of the customer's last message. In some cases that extends to 7 days. Businesses can't start a new DM thread.
We only use official platform APIs. That keeps your accounts safe, but it also means a few features stay unavailable until the platforms open them up.
3. Will AI-assisted replies and comment/DM webhooks be included in current LTD tiers?
Yes. Both will be included in the current AppSumo LTD tiers, and they'll stay included.
4. Are approval workflows, RSS, evergreen recycling and content queues free LTD updates?
Yes. Each of these is either planned or already in development, and all of them will reach LTD users as free updates.
5. Will any major future features require extra payment?
The only planned feature likely to involve extra cost is AI video generation. We'll release it as bring-your-own-key (BYOK) first. You'll pay the video provider directly at their price, and we won't add any markup. Later we may offer credits as an option, if we can run them sustainably.
6. Will LTD buyers keep access to future MCP/API improvements?
Yes. We don't have a separate API or MCP for LTD customers and don't plan to split it off. Every improvement we ship goes to everyone. Some settings may differ slightly between plans, but we don't plan to cut LTD customers off from future updates.
