Hello AdaptlyPost team,
I have confirmed that ChatGPT allows me to add a custom remote MCP server with OAuth authentication, using your endpoint https://mcp.adaptlypost.com/mcp.
Before purchasing, could you please clarify:
Have you tested your MCP integration with ChatGPT Work, including scheduled/recurring tasks, or only interactive ChatGPT conversations?
Can an OAuth connection be restricted to a specific workspace with Contributor permissions, so the AI can read analytics and create drafts but cannot schedule or publish posts?
If OAuth does not support that restriction, is there a recommended way to connect ChatGPT's custom MCP interface using a workspace-scoped API token?
Are MCP, REST API, workspace permissions, and all related agent features included in the AppSumo Tier 2 lifetime license without additional subscription fees?

We're currently awaiting official plugin verification from OpenAI, which will allow users to connect AdaptlyPost directly to ChatGPT without needing to configure a custom MCP server. The underlying integration follows essentially the same flow, and we've tested our agent functionality extensively.
Regarding permissions, the best approach right now is to create a separate AdaptlyPost user with the Contributor role in your workspace. That user can authenticate through OAuth in ChatGPT, and their permissions will be limited to actions such as creating drafts and viewing analytics, without the ability to schedule or publish posts.
As far as I'm aware, ChatGPT also supports connecting multiple accounts through OAuth, so you may be able to manage different permission levels by switching between accounts with different roles.
Regarding licensing, all agent-related features will be included and supported moving forward.
