I'm trying to get clarity on the pricing. Everything says Tier 1. It also says that $79 is 120 minutes per month. When you move the slider to the $138 option, it still says 120 minutes per month, so can you clarify the difference between what I would call Tier 1 and Tier 2.
Also, did I read correctly that I can upload longer videos and that the limits relate to the final outputs? Thank you....
So the tool is now primarily meant to create Shorts from long videos, right? It isn’t a true Descript alternative that you can use to edit videos in general, in landscape mode, to produce great YouTube videos. Is that correct? Did I understand that correctly?

A: Hey TheBoogieMan,
Great question. Wisecut is not only for creating Shorts from long videos.
Inside Wisecut, there’s a tab called Full Video, which is made specifically for editing full-length videos, including landscape YouTube videos. In that mode, you can export the full video and apply edits like captions, silence removal, filler word removal, retake removal, background music with auto...
Q: Royalty-free status of the background music - own music possible?
Hello, could you please tell me a bit about the royalty-free status of the background music? I can’t find any information about it on your website. I would only be able to use it if I had written confirmation that it really is royalty-free for commercial use.
Alternatively, is it possible to upload my own music for this purpose?
Thank your for your reply!

A: Hi sweishaupt,
Thanks for your question!
Yes, all music available in our library is royalty-free and can be used commercially in your videos. Thousands of users have already used music from our library in videos published on platforms like YouTube and other social media channels without issues.
At the moment, however, it is not possible to upload your own music into Wisecut.
Can we upload audio only so it can cut silences and remove ums etc. and then can we add video / images like in descript? Or do we have to upload an actual video?
My workflow with descript is to first add audio then I add stock video / my own clips..
Is this possible?

A: Hey! Thanks for the question!
Wisecut wasn’t specifically designed for audio-only workflows, so while you can try uploading audio files, we can’t promise the same level of performance and experience that you’d get with regular video content.
At the moment, it’s also not possible to add images or stock footage afterward to build a video from an audio file. Wisecut works by processing a single...

A: Hey Zook! Thanks for the question 😊
Wisecut was primarily designed to work best with long-form videos, helping you automatically create short clips and highlights from them using AI.
That said, you can absolutely upload short-form videos too, especially if your goal is to add captions, trim them down even more, or make quick edits. The results will depend a bit on the type of content and how...
