I only had Poppy AI for a couple of days now, but I can tell this one is a keeper. I really like the fact that I can feed it information about my brand. I can look up other YouTube videos and TikTok videos that I like to influence how my scripts are made. I like the fact that anytime I chat with it, it knows exactly my voice, my tone, and my style. I also like the fact that there are so many different videos to show me how to use it. Sometimes when you buy new software, there's not a lot of instructions on how to use it, so it ends up sitting on the shelf.

The creators and the customer service are great. They reached out to me, made sure everything was going well, and checked how I was getting along with the software. I'm also scheduled for my onboarding, which is going to show me how to use it even more.

I will say that you have to be careful with the credits. Whenever you're asking questions or using input, make sure you only have the sources you need for that, because the more sources you feed into it, the more credits you use. But I don't mind paying for credits when I'm getting such good value. Because of that, I realize I definitely needed to go up a tier so I can have access to more credits. If I run out, I'm willing to pay for more because I can definitely see this bringing value to my content creation process.

Five tacos for me!

I'm actually a bit embarrased to say this... But I shelled out $997 for Poppy's Lifetime deal they had directly on their site about 6 months ago... And then I proceeded to not do nothing with it. (Ouch). That's right, I just let it sit there month after month, allowing my 2,000 in monthly credits go to the digital wastelands... That's my Confession.

Then, I saw they were here on AppSumo... I was pleasantly surprised... Then when I saw that I could have purchased it for less on AppSumo (equivalent to Tier 3), I got another (Ouch). But I guess it wouldn't have mattered since I hadn't used it at all.

When I heard you can Stack Credits (For those of use who had already purchased), I knew I had better take a serious look. Thus, if I were to pay anymore for Poppy, I decided to wipe off my account and use it (I know, what a concept)...

Actually using it simply confirmed what I had originally suspected (which made me purchase initially in the first place)... This thing is AMAZING!!!

There's simply something about the Visual Aspect that makes create content a bit more captivating... I used nearly 600 credits during my initial session of testing. But that included adding over 8 or 9 hours of Audios (not transcripts which I'm sure would have made it less), and lots of back and forth via the Chat... The output it provided was more impressive than I expected (or maybe I'm just that good at Prompting... Hmmm)...

Anyway, I decided to Beef up my Account by purchasing a Tier 4 here at AppSumo to add onto my existing 2,000/mo Lifetime Deal I already had - which provides me with 5,000 monthly credits... I also appreciate the Bonus Credits they've provided in this deal as well... I'm going to set an Onboarding session right after I've written this as well so I can figure out how to Optimize my Credits even more.

If you do anything related to interacting with Content (Researching, Ideating, Outlining, Writing) etc., you deserve to pick this up right away before they are gone bye bye.

As a lecturer, I work daily with a variety of information: academic articles, PDFs, presentations, YouTube videos, participant materials, and my own notes. At this point, Poppy AI has pleasantly surprised me. Been using Poppy AI for a bit now and it's honestly pretty handy. It's like a shared canvas where you can dump videos, docs, links etc and then just chat with all that stuff in one place instead of having a million tabs open.

The canvas/board layout makes it easy to see how everything connects, which is great if you're the type who needs to visualize how ideas relate to each other. Setup was painless too, didn't need to be a tech wizard to figure it out - plus the onboarding call with Sam was soo helpful bec she gave personal tricks and hacks to optimize the workflow and how to efficiently use my credits.

What's been most useful for me is pulling together research from multiple YouTube videos and articles for a content project and I love how i can organize my multiple client briefs and reference material in one place.

Definitely recommend if you do a lot of research or content work and need a better way to keep things organized.
