The LTD covers the hosted cloud version. That means we handle everything for you: the servers, updates, maintenance, and uptime.
On tiers 2 and 3 you also get a unique username on our domain, like kan.bn/yourname.
And if you ever want to self-host down the line, the open source version is there for you.

The open source version is always there if you'd rather self-host, but subscriptions help us keep shipping new features!
