3 tacos - Capable core, but stalled roadmap and real limitations if you're outside the WooCommerce lane
I purchased FluxBuilder in 2024 with a clear goal: building a mobile app for my WordPress/Voxel directory site. Here's my honest retrospective after 18 months of tickets, workarounds, and roadmap-watching.
The Voxel integration that never came
My use case was MyListing, which was succeeded by Voxel - built by the same developer team, widely adopted by the same community. I raised this directly with FluxBuilder support in October 2024. Their response: "We have notified the team and will consider it for the upgrade." Over a year. Not an update, not a timeline, not even a status change on the feature board.
I took it further. I reached out to the Voxel founder directly to explore whether both teams could collaborate on an integration. FluxBuilder never engaged. Meanwhile, their own public roadmap shows the Voxel/MyListing request accumulating 15+ community comments from equally stranded users, people who migrated from MyListing and bought into FluxBuilder expecting continuity.
The roadmap is a waiting room, not a pipeline
A look at their public feature board is genuinely concerning. Dozens of requests with real community support have been sitting in "In Development" for over two years with no movement:
LMS Integration - 61 votes, 2 years
Firebase as CMS backend - 19 votes, 2 years
PWA improvements - 18 votes, 2 years
Live Shopping - 15 votes, 2 years
PDF Order Download - 16 votes, 2 years
WhatsApp OTP verification - 10 votes, 2 years
Progressive Web App support - 10 votes, 2 years
Two years "In Development" is not development - it's deferral with a status label on it.
Navigation limitations that matter
The bottom TabBar cannot navigate to internal pages within the app. For a directory or listings use case - where users need to deep-link to categories, listing types, or filtered views — this is a fundamental UX constraint, not a minor gap.
The response confirmed it is unsupported, and the workaround offered was to switch tabs and switch back. When I pushed further, I was told the feature could be expedited at a reasonable cost. On a lifetime deal. That response tells you a lot about where priorities sit.
Similarly, when a user navigates internally within a tab (say, from the homepage into a listing page) and taps the Home icon again, nothing happens — the WebView stays on the internal page. Also confirmed unsupported. Also added to "the backlog."
On value consistency
AppSumo buyers pay a premium, trusting that the LTD reflects the tool's best offer. I've since seen FluxBuilder available through other channels at significantly lower price points (often 50% off). When roadmap delivery is slow and fundamental features are missing, that discrepancy is harder to absorb.
The bottom line
Three tacos because the core genuinely works — WooCommerce and Shopify integrations are solid, the builder is clean, and the UI is well-designed. If e-commerce is your world, you'll likely be satisfied.
But if you're building for the WordPress or directory/listings space (Voxel, MyListing, Listify), or if you need flexible deep-linking navigation in your app, be cautious. The gap between what's promised on the roadmap and what's actually delivered is wide, and has been for two years.

May 8, 2026Thanks for the review and for highlighting our strong WooCommerce and Shopify integrations. I want to address your points directly.
Our Focus & Roadmap
Development hasn't stalled—we ship updates regularly, which you can track here: https://docs.fluxbuilder.com/changelog. We have to be strict with our priorities. While Voxel is important for your directory, our focus remains on core e-commerce...

Very happy with this app
We are developers, but coming across an app like this that truly makes your work easier is fantastic. It integrates very well with different CMS platforms, but where it really stands out is with WooCommerce.
It works very well! It does exactly what’s needed. The potential of this application is truly incredible. There are a few things that, in my opinion, could be improved, since although the interface is simple, it’s not as intuitive as it could be. With very little effort, it could be amazing! If you need my feedback, I’d be happy to share it.
Also worth mentioning—something that is unfortunately quite common in these kinds of offers—is that although it’s advertised otherwise, some updates such as templates or VIP options are not included.
What’s also missing is greater customization in some parts of the app interface.
For an application of this scale, these small details are missed, as they would make it even more outstanding than it already is. That said, you definitely won’t regret purchasing it. Keep working on it!! We trust you 🙌

Apr 1, 2026Thanks so much for the support! It’s awesome to hear from fellow devs that we’re actually making your workflow easier, especially with WooCommerce.
We really appreciate the honest feedback on the UI and customization. We’re always trying to bridge that gap between "simple" and "perfectly intuitive," so we’d love to hear your specific ideas if you’re open to sharing.
Also, thanks for the...

Extremely frustrating
I was genuinely excited about this product, especially as someone who frequently invests in higher-tier deals and enjoys helping improve tools through feedback. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.
The platform itself feels inconsistent and unreliable. I encountered multiple issues such as 404 errors, server errors, and problems signing in with Google. There is also confusion around branding and functionality, which makes it difficult to understand and use the product effectively.
Support has been particularly challenging. The help center requires a separate account, and even after setting it up, I ran into technical issues. Sharing screenshots was complicated, as attachments didn’t seem to come through properly, forcing me to use external tools just to communicate basic issues. It took several days to make minimal progress.
When I raised detailed feedback and documented the issues clearly, the response I received was simply to request a refund if I wasn’t satisfied. While refunds are fair, this approach didn’t feel constructive or supportive for users trying to help improve the product.
Overall, I had high expectations, but due to the technical issues and support experience, I cannot recommend this product at this time. so my advice to others: Stay away!

That is simply not true. Google clearly informed that the security of the app trying to log in (FluxBuilder) is insufficient and therefore blocked it. Older Google accounts can still use it until they update their security. Many apps faced this issue but have since fixed their products. You seem to blame the customer instead of fixing the problem.
Regarding your support center: come on. A support center with a separate login, no attachment uploads, and no email notifications clearly discourages users from seeking help. Why? Because of your paid VIP plan. Once again, this is an AppSumo disgrace—luring users in with a lifetime deal, only to charge extra later.

Edited Apr 11, 2026Hi, thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear about the issue. Could you please share your ticket details or the email you used so I can look into it?
Just to clarify: our Support Center and FluxBuilder are managed on different platforms, which is why they require separate registrations.
As for the Firebase issue, the block is actually coming from Google's side—often due to settings from a...

Very nice piece of software.
I have not made a major purchase in some time and decided to pull FluxBuilder off the shelf and was pleasantly surprised. Just like most companies that are very nice and different there was no time to leave bread crumbs, I mean videos to figure out how to use it. I was able to get through it with ease and what I discovered on the other end was shocking. This freaking tool was just what I needed.
UI/UX is super clean and fresher than any app builder I have ever seen come to Appsumo. I kept trying to find a reason to return it but found myself upgrading. I may just max stack it before It leaves once I can figure out how their whitelable works.
This tool will shock you. Do not look for too much support or video help though. Neither were present, but if you can get around tools and github then you should be good to go. One word of caution. I have 5 apps in the app store currently and I got to tell you. Getting that first app approved is a pretty much like taking a Chemistry exam on the last day of school for a passing grade and you already have an F- in the class. It is a tall task but it can be done with patience. You got to get you one of these tools. Flux Builder does not disappoint.
