No way to contact support?!

I've bought Tier 3 and looked for a way to contact them, but couldn't find a contact form :(

I've found the email of the owner in the questions section on AppSumo, sent 2 emails, but got no reply

I want to report that the app charges credits after the first 10 results are displayed (1 credit for each 10 results) and also reported a bug

Hi Toni, thank you for the honest review. You’re right on both counts.

On support: you shouldn’t have had to dig for an email, and we’re sorry we didn't answer your first two. We received them at 11 pm here and didn't respond until the next morning. We’ve replied to you directly now. For anyone else reading, you can reach me anytime at [email protected]. We also made our Help and Tips section...

Solid and Functional Product with an Intuitive Interface, but MCP Server Performance Needs Urgent Improvement

I would like to congratulate you on your product. I purchased Tier 2, and so far, I’m quite pleased with what I see. The interface is very well designed, clean, intuitive, and it offers a wide variety of filters that make querying a smooth experience.

That said, I must mention an important aspect where I believe there is room for substantial improvement: the MCP server performance. While the endpoints themselves are numerous and well-constructed, I’ve encountered persistent issues related to the stability and speed of data delivery through the MCP. The errors coming from this server—connection timeouts, unexpected limits, and odd messages such as “Search capacity temporarily exhausted. Retry in 108585212 seconds”, indicate there is something off in terms of how requests are managed or processed.

My Hermes agent tries to limit and pace queries carefully, so it seems the throttling or resource management at the MCP level needs better calibration. Whether it’s a matter of request limits being too strict or something deeper affecting server integrity, this is the one area that affects the overall experience and should be addressed for smoother, more reliable operations.

Despite this, I want to emphasize that the platform itself is very good. The range of filters and functionality provided so far have met my needs well, and for now, I am happy to give a 5-star rating with the caveat that the MCP performance issue is a critical point to monitor. If improvements are made to stabilize and enhance MCP, I would have no hesitation in maintaining or even increasing my confidence in the product. Conversely, if this continues to cause problems, I might need to reconsider my rating over time.

Thank you for the thoughtful review and the 5 tacos! 🙏 Glad the interface and filters are working well for you.

You’re right about the MCP, and thank you for laying out the details. We’ve identified the issues you described, including the timeouts and that “Retry in 108585212 seconds” message, which is clearly a bug in how our rate limiting reports wait times, not a real limit. Between your...

Finding the Right Finance Creators for HeyTicker

As the founder of HeyTicker, I’m looking for creators who cover personal finance, investing, and stock market education. Creator Lookup’s plain-English search is a useful starting point for finding people in those specific niches. I was able to narrow the search by average views, review social profiles, and organize potential partners into lists, which more than satisfies my needs and addresses the biggest challenge I face with creator collaborations.

Very useful tool and definitely happy with my purchase!

Thanks so much, darksun! 🙏

Finance creators are a great fit for HeyTicker, and filtering by average views is exactly the right move. In finance especially, follower counts can be misleading, and views tell you who actually gets watched.

Good luck with the campaign, and let us know how it goes!

Found 1,000+ French relevant creators in my first search

CreatorLookup has been a pleasant surprise. I was looking for France-based creators who share faith-related content to help promote my app, and my first search returned over 1,000 profiles with email addresses. I could search in my first language, French, and chat back and forth with the AI to refine the results, which made the process feel natural.

The interface was easy to get started with, and building a shortlist felt much less tedious. My biggest tip for users: include and exclude specific bio keywords. That gave me the most accurate matches for my niche.

Some features are still in beta, but the core search has been super useful for my needs. I'm excited to have lifetime access, the team seems to push updates often. Five tacos from me!

merci beaucoup! this genuinely made our morning.

finding 1,000+ french faith creators on the first search is exactly why we built the AI search the way we did. describe who you need in plain english (or french!), not just keywords.

your bio keyword workflow gave us the idea to ship this as a feature. we’ll be making inclusions and exclusions come automatically when doing AI search without having...

Describe the creator you need and let it find them

Disclaimer: I'm a paid product tester for AppSumo and received this tool for free to provide a detailed review. My opinions are entirely my own, and my compensation is not tied to the rating or taco score I give.

Finding creators can get surprisingly time consuming when you have something very specific in mind. Creator Lookup lets you describe the kind of creator you're looking for in normal language instead of starting with a long list of filters.

What I find very useful is that I can ask for something like micro-influencers in a particular niche, location and follower range, and use that as the starting point. I can then narrow the results further with filters if I need to. It feels closer to describing the brief than searching through a database one field at a time.

I tested the natural-language search and it returned relevant creator profiles with follower counts, engagement information and links to their social accounts. The filters and location suggestions worked well too. Once I find people I want to come back to, I can save them to lists, and the search history makes it easy to revisit previous searches instead of starting again.

Creator Lookup also provides contact information for creators, including email addresses and, where available, phone numbers. That makes the results more useful than simply giving me another list of social profiles that I then have to research individually.

MCP and API access are also included, which is useful if you want to run creator searches, retrieve previous searches or export results from another application or AI assistant without having to switch context or procrastinate.

One thing to understand about the AppSumo deal is that campaign management isn't included in the self-serve product. The deal is primarily about finding creators, accessing their contact information, building and sharing lists, and exporting those results into whatever outreach process you already use.

Overall, I think the natural-language search is the best reason to look at Creator Lookup. If I already know the type of creator I want, I can describe that person in plain English and start from a relevant group instead of spending an afternoon searching profiles and assembling a spreadsheet. For me, that's a much more convenient and efficient way to do creator research.

thanks so much for this, seriously one of the most detailed reviews we've gotten and we really appreciate you taking the time. "describing the brief rather than searching a database one field at a time" is exactly what we have been going for.

one small thing to add: campaign management is actually on the roadmap for self-serve users very soon! it currently lives on our managed/agency side but...
