I love it, but it's frustrating.
I use VoiceDash daily. I try to get my team on board as well, but those who use other products tell me it's just not as fast or as accurate. That said, it works decent for me most of the time. And when I've put in support requests, they assure me they're working on it.
Update to 5 stars.... they came through for us early supporters. So removing that complaint.
I want to mention the overwhelming frustrating experience of dictating even for just one minute or two and everything is lost. I have to repeat myself again. Sometimes it'll give me just one sentence when it should have given me two or three paragraphs. I've been very patient and have hoped that this would improve. I've been using it now for about four or five months... but it continues to happen.
I think one thing they could add that would be very helpful is a cached audio capture that would allow us to reprocess it with a different style, voice, or command. on both the phone and the computer.

Regarding the transcription issue, if you encounter a case where your transcription is cut off, incomplete, or missing again, you can immediately contact our Support team through VoiceDash → Settings → Support and provide the details of what happened. You can also reach us directly at [email protected] so we can investigate the issue more closely.
In the meantime, you may also want to try using a Custom Prompt to help VoiceDash preserve your dictation more consistently. You can find this under VoiceDash → Settings → Custom Prompt.
You can try adding the following instruction:
Transcribe exactly what I say. Do not summarize, shorten, or omit any part of my speech. Preserve my original wording, sentence structure, and meaning. Do not cut or leave out any portion of my dictation. Do not add information that I did not say.
Regarding the new features, AppSumo customers who purchased VoiceDash previously have not been left behind. New features are available to users based on their current tier. Since the tiers offer different feature sets and limits, higher tiers naturally include more features and capabilities.
As for API access, it is available starting from Tier 3 and above. May I know which tier you currently have? If you should already have API access based on your tier but it isn’t showing on your account, we can have our technical team look into it for you.
And regarding your suggestion for cached audio capture, that’s actually a great idea! This is something our team has already been considering because we also want users to have a smoother experience and avoid having to repeat their dictation when something goes wrong. We’ll also add your suggestion to our Feedback Hub for better visibility with the team.
