Disappointed I bought the highest tier
I bought back in 2024. At the time, plans were credit based. Everything else between the three tiers was the same except the amount of credit you got. I only have a couple projects but wanted to make sure I didn't run out of credits so I bought the highest tier. Now they no longer work on credits and if I were to buy now, I would buy the lowest plan because the only difference now is the number of projects and tier 1 is plenty for my needs. Also the original plan I bought was Unlimited websites and unlimited team members, well now it is 21 projects and 10 members, which is more than I need but it is nowhere near the original unlimited. They did give me a couple limit upgrades vs the new plan limits, but most of what they gave me is not worth the $138 I paid to upgrade to the higher original plan because I don't need it. I'm curious to know if all legacy tiers got the same upgrades, because if they did, then it makes it even more disappointing that I bought the highest tier.

Edited Sep 30, 2026Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to explain your concerns.
I completely understand why the change in your account limits may seem confusing. With the new Screpy system, we have removed the previous credit-based structure, so the limits you see today are not directly comparable to the ones shown under the old system.
Previously, âunlimited websitesâ referred to the number of websites you could add, but the actual usage of those websites was still controlled by your available credits. Website crawls, keyword tracking, and other analyses would consume credits, so the unlimited website allowance did not mean unlimited usage.
The new system works differently. Your projects are now controlled by a project limit rather than a credit balance, and the analyses performed within those projects are no longer deducted from a separate credit pool. This means you can use the available features without having to manage or purchase additional analysis credits.
At the same time, we donât want our long-term customers to lose the benefits they originally received. We have already restored the previous website allowances for many lifetime customers who contacted us through support, and we can review your account in the same way.
Iâm unable to make this account-level adjustment from this conversation, so please open a support ticket with Screpy and mention your original lifetime plan and previous limits. Our support team can review your account and make the necessary adjustments.
We appreciate your support as a lifetime customer, and we want to make sure the transition to the new system does not leave you with fewer benefits than you should have.
Best regards
