Q: How does it differ from pretty prompt that was also on appsumo

Great question!
Here's what sets us apart:
1. Global Variables & Advanced Context
Pretty Prompt doesn't have global variables or reusable context slots. With Prompt Architects, you can create prompts with variables like {client_name} or {project_type} that automatically get replaced when you copy them. This means you build once and reuse across different clients, projects, or workflows — massive time saver for anyone doing similar tasks repeatedly.
2. Higher Limits
Pretty Prompt had very restrictive usage limits even on paid plans. We offer significantly higher limits on prompt enhancements, library storage, and history retention — especially on our Advanced plan (unlimited enhancements and library).
3. MCP Integration
We have Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration that works across Claude Code, Gemini, Cursor, and Codex. Pretty Prompt didn't have this cross-platform orchestration layer.
4. LLM-Specific Optimization
Prompt Architects lets you choose which AI model you're optimizing for (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or auto-select). Each LLM has different preferences for prompt structure — we tailor the enhancement accordingly. Pretty Prompt was one-size-fits-all.
5. Team Collaboration
We have team features built-in — shared prompt libraries and team member support. Pretty Prompt didn't have any team functionality at all.
6. Image & Video Prompt Libraries
We have dedicated libraries for image generation (Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion) and video generation (Runway, Veo3, Kling) with pre-built, high-quality prompts. Pretty Prompt focused only on text prompts.
7. Active Development
Pretty Prompt hasn't had major updates in months. We're shipping new features regularly — MCP integration, global variables, advanced context management, and more are all recent additions.
TL;DR:
Pretty Prompt = basic prompt enhancement with low limits
Prompt Architects = reusable workflows, cross-platform orchestration, team-ready infrastructure
Hope that helps clarify the difference! Let me know if you have other questions.
