Customers appreciate Kan's clean and simple interface, minimalist design, and responsive support. While some users have mentioned limited workspaces and the need for dedicated apps as minor issues, the overall positive feedback and 5-star rating make Kan a solid choice for project management. With the added benefit of a 60-day money-back guarantee, it's definitely worth trying out.

Love it!

I really love how clean and simple kan.bn is. He's done a great job with the UI and the PWA is nice too. Feels just like an app except it opens on the website's home page instead of the app page so its always 2 clicks to get to your boards.

Like the previous 2 reviewers said, I really wish we had unlimited Workspaces. Even with the 4 in Tier 3, I'd be combining things in workspaces so I ended up just getting Tier 2. I know he's mentioned adding additional tiers with more Workspaces but I only have 1 user and would only need a couple boards per workspace... I really don't want to pay anymore than $199 for a kanban tool. Would be great if he bumped Tier 2 up to like 10 and Tier 3 to unlimited. I'd upgrade for that. Either that or just put a storage cap on each tier and let us purchase additional workspaces directly from you (or the Appsumo deal).

The other things I'd really love to see are:
- CNAME per workspace so we can brand the URL
- Ability to move cards between lists (and workspaces)
- Ability to drag and drop files into a card

Overall though its a solid app! Really well done, thank you.

Love the simplicity

After using Notion for quite a while to plan new business together with my husband, I could work with it even though it is overcomplicated. My husband clearly hated the setup, so I presented Kan to him. We decided to buy the highest tier. I am still setting things up, but I really love the simplicity. The UI looks great too!

There are a few things that could improve my experience:

- More workspaces! We have 4 right now, which covers the businesses we run + one personal workspace. I wish I could have my personal workspace in Kan as well. But the best option would be to create about 20 workspaces, or unlimited workspaces with a storage limit, so that I could invite my clients to a dedicated workspace for their design project.
- Board covers, we are visual people running photography, art and design businesses. Plus, I would love to use Kan for stuff like a personal Goodreads, so adding book covers and having them show in the board would be very useful
- Lastly, a timeline view would be awesome but not a necessity at this point.
- I can't wait for dedicated apps for our Macs and iPhones.

I hope Kan will develop further, but keep it simple!

Full Ported

Really enjoying Kan. Simple to use, plays well with Claude, and keeps my workflow organized.

Wishlist:
- Drag-and-drop or paste file upload into cards (fewer clicks = better UX)
- More workspaces on AppSumo — I'd rather have 1 member + unlimited workspaces for example. 4 client workspaces will burn quick.
- Mobile is ~okay via PWA; would love to see native/remote-work development.

5 tacos strong. Keep up the good work.

Hey griphy,

Thanks for the kind words - really glad to hear you're enjoying Kan!

- DND uploads: good news, you can actually do this already. It is currently limited to one file at a time though, I will get a fix out for that.
- More workspaces: we might introduce a higher tier with more workspaces if there's enough demand. Board-level permissions are also on the roadmap, which might help with...

Review from a Home User

I do not own a business and at the tail end of my IT career. I always loved the Kanban concept of organizing projects. I am now looking to fit this into my home life. I am a musician and always involved in recording projects and this will be perfect to keep track of the process from writing the music up until the finished mixed and mastered song. I can keep all my notes and information in each card and can always go back and see how I created the music.

I am also always involved in home tech projects with complex setup etc. and just being able to track and have detailed notes in one board will be awesome. I know there are other products that could fit my uses. But I love giving new products a go and seeing what I can do with them. I look forward to really kicking the tires on this product and offering my opinion on my experiences and possible changes that might help make things even better. I look forward to seeing what Kan turns into. So far it is clean and works perfectly.

I'm a one-man team, a solopreneur, and I could use a tool that helps me with my productivity.

Kanban was developed by Toyota/Lexus, and a tool like that produces high quality cars through their production line. A simple post-it note type system for organizing your projects and getting production done in a systematic order seems like the ticket for me. I have a lot of projects on the go in different stages of completion, but could use something that helps me finish my projects in a more efficient manner, and that's what this tool is for. I'm hoping it helps me with my art and my website development. I'm hoping what worked for Toyota will help work for me in becoming a lot more productive and profitable with my ventures moving forward. For a one-time price to get in on a lifetime deal, that's a small price to pay.

Hey AhayahAssemblyChurch, thanks for the review!

You've hit the nail on the head, the real power of kanban is in its simplicity. It's just as valuable for individuals and solopreneurs looking to boost their productivity as it is for large teams.

Best of luck with your art and web development projects. Hope Kan helps you get them over the line.

Any questions or feature requests, don't hesitate...
