I run a small UK e-commerce business and take customer calls through a softphone on my PC. I use Hedy to record and summarise those calls, and its webhooks send the transcript and recap straight into our own customer system, so every caller's history is there next time they ring.
The one gap was starting and stopping sessions automatically, since meeting detection only covers Zoom, Teams and Webex. I asked support. Starting / Un-Pausing Sessions Take Too Long
Hello! I think Hedy is promising, except for the time it takes for the app to begin recording or “un-pause”. This happens the majority of the time. Rarely does the recording start immediately. Is this a known issue?
I got accustomed to TwinMind before they started requiring payment for the “free stuff”. That’s a slick platform but not for that monthly price they’re charging. Was hoping Hedy could be my new “go to”

Please also let us know whether recording itself starts late or the transcript takes a while to appear. That will help us narrow down what's happening.

Installed it with no glitches or drama ( and I hate computers). I also hate typing and listening to meetings .. Have it running in the background of anything you are attending to get used to it. It will serve you well after the meetings are over too. You will come to realise it is a Godsend! I get it to do all kinds of things now to prep me for other stages of my work flow. Its is intuitive . When I have it on spiritual counselling sometimes the things I require takes quite some time to be completed by the host who talks slower and longer. I made the error of asking it to do the same request in business meeting mode and it admitted it was better for me to switch to spiritual... ( i didn't know it noticed the difference ). It is reliable with its transcribing too and if I wanted I could get it to identifiy speakers....................... Unsure if it can translate but that would be another gem.
