Tier 3 user here. Unless you’re willing to limit yourself to just one outdated text model and see yourself locked out of half the features on the platform, without upgrade or being pushed into subscription, I would not recommend to buy this deal.

The scheduling feature works fine, but overall my experience with the included AI tools was disappointing.

The main issue for me was the quality of the generated content. Even using the available models included in the deal, the outputs often felt generic, repetitive, and below the standard of other AI tools available today. The word limits also made it difficult to create anything truly useful or polished without constantly rewriting or splitting requests.

I tested the platform for content generation across multiple use cases, and the results consistently required heavy manual editing before they could be usable professionally. In a market where AI content quality matters a lot, the included models simply did not perform well enough for my needs.

I appreciate the concept and the scheduling functionality, but based on my experience with the tools included in the AppSumo deal, this ended up being one of the few purchases I personally regret.

The only purchase I made on AppSumo that I regret is this one.

Avoid this one at all costs. I bought 5 codes when it first launched. The platform worked well at first and they gave you all the features during the launch. There were it would not post scheduled items. My tier included access to all the models at first but this soon changed.

I think the price has nearly tripled for each tier since it launched. I found the platform did not work at times. The output of the really old and basic models for my tier 5 were just plain bad and the image generation was poor. Stopped using the platform because they asking for more payments for the new features. You would need to spend a lot of money buying this from the start now and I would not trust putting 100s of dollars into this platform.

Check all the other 1 star ratings and you can clearly see this is not a one-off. I had high hopes for this platform but they stung users and now desperate to come back on to do it again. It almost feels like another Afforai and they have really annoyed a lot of early adoptors that managed to make this platform.

Along with RADAAR the social media scheduling platforms that get listed on AppSumo do not seem to keep their promise possibly because of on-going costs but if providers cannot keep their promise then they should not list to sell it as a lifetime deal with future updates.

Really not sure this deserves to have a plus exclusive membership either.

Unfortunately, Followr’s White Labeling offer is a massive scam.

Updated review. Below, the developer tried to shift the blame and make users look like the ones at fault, asking why we hadn’t reached out with suggestions sooner. But the fact is, all these same questions and suggestions were already voiced right here on the platform a year ago.

Updated review (again): the developer is rewriting their response, scrubbing the points where they were clearly caught in a lie.

The developers ignored them for over a year, only resurfacing now that it’s time to re-enter the market and show off something 'good.' This is another major red flag that this company cannot be trusted. Read the reviews: we lost our money, don't repeat our mistakes.

The platform restricts you as much as possible and provides no significant value or benefit.

Sure, they claim to have added some perks for top-tier buyers now, but here is the reality after a year of use: if you want to use BYOK to optimize costs—you can’t. You’re stuck with a strictly limited list and no option to add OpenRouter.

You can't work with the platform via API unless you pay a monthly fee.

That would be understandable if you had many clients and exceeded limits, but right now the developers are just stifling business growth. Their whole scheme boils down to selling their services to the very clients we paid to acquire.

Don’t believe the promises that they are 'working on it' - it’s the exact same story as a year ago. As it stands, this offer provides zero real market advantage.

And the cherry on top: the platform is indeed evolving and adding new tools, but you can only use them if you keep paying regularly.

You see bad products on appsumo from time to time, but followr.ai is the biggest and most blatant scam I have ever encountered.

Tier 4 User. There was a peroid where I was a little worried about this purchase but it keeps getting better and better. New models, better features, cleaner interface. Some of the things that annoyed me about the platform - kind of minor in retrospect - such as the placement of an "X" button, have been fixed so I really am pleased where Followr has been going and its future.
