Q: Which input is needed to create a tour?
Hi, I read your knowledgebase and the website, but I could not find the information on which input I need to supply to create a 360 tour. Do I still need to buy a 360-degree camera? Or do I upload lots of static images and you turn them into a panorama? Or do I need to do a video? Please clarify, thank you.

Thanks for your question — happy to clarify how tour creation works.
To create a 360° tour, you primarily need 360-degree panoramic images. There are a few ways to get these:
1. 360° Camera (Recommended)
Using a 360 camera (like Insta360, Ricoh Theta, etc.) is the easiest and best-quality option.
These cameras automatically capture full panoramic images that can be uploaded directly to create a tour.
2. Mobile 360 Capture (Alternative)
Some modern smartphones support panoramic or 360 capture via apps.
While usable, quality and alignment may not be as good as a dedicated 360 camera.
3. DSLR Panorama Stitching (Advanced)
You can take multiple overlapping photos and stitch them into a 360 panorama using software. This requires more effort and tools, but works if done correctly.
