Promising, but held back by registration limitation and poor localisation

I had high hopes for BeHuman.Online (BHO) as a viable alternative to Zoom Webinar. The platform generally looks great, but unfortunately, I came across a few limitations that means I will be requesting a refund after writing this review.

The key limitations for me are around the following areas:
1. Registration:
I need a system where attendees can simply register with an email address, double opt-in to confirm a valid emai address, and they receive their unique join link (for future attendance reporting) - that's it, as simple as this!

However, BHO currently mandates that Google Login, Email, and SMS options are ALL visible options. The biggest concern I have is that all of these methods requires the guest to create a dedicated BHO account. I do not want to force my webinar guests to sign up for a third-party platform just to attend my webinar. Additionally,
(a) My attendees are generally business that use O365. I don't want someone see the Google option and to feel using their personal GMail account is an option for them and something we'd request.
(b) I don't want SMS even listed as an option as collecting phone numbers feels unnecessarily invasive (for my needs at least) - it's either none ('anonymous') or all three options visible.

Our Website Privacy Statement likely doesn't allow for capturing (a) and/or (b) above.

When I reached out to support about the registration issue, they initially suggested using their "anonymous" and "form" features. I don't feel this option capturing registrations, but instead designed to allow guests to click the link on the day. This does not work for my webinars where I need to track attendee numbers before the event - potentially cancelling the event if numbers aren't there. When I clarified and pointed this out, support referred me back to using their standard registration feature. When I replied again, advising their standard registration doesn't work for me per the reasons stated in my original support request, asked how I can simply do email address/double opt-in/unique link - it's now over one week and I haven't heard back.

2. Localisation: I don't believe BHO currently caters well to a global audience. The registration page locks you into a US date format (as far as I could tell). Additionally, the SMS field always defaults to a US country code rather than auto-detecting the guest's location via IP address. I know of many online apps seamlessly default to a user's local country code, so I believe BHO creates a clunky experience for international guests.

It is a shame, as the interface looks promising, but these basic functional gaps and the lack of final support resolution has stopped me from fully evaluating or adopting BeHuman.Online.

Fantastic news! It is a real testament to the hard work you put into your business. Not only taking feedback seriously but prompt development for a resolution (I hope double opt-in option is there too to help reduce any potential spam entries).

The last feedback, if I may, is I wish someone had just provided me a status update. I (now) completely understand the priority was fix and make a customer happy, but after a week of silence, as far I was concerned, my request was too difficult so I took the path of least resistance. Kudos to you and your team for the outcome - upping from 3 to 4 tacos. I will consider re-purchasing.

We genuinely appreciate thoughtful feedback like this, and I wanted to share that two of your suggestions have already been built into the platform and are live now.

You can now individually control which registration methods are available to attendees, including Google, SMS, and Email. This means hosts can choose the registration flow that best fits their audience and event format.

We have also added automatic country detection for the SMS registration option, so the attendee’s country is pre-selected based on their location, creating a smoother experience for international guests.

Feedback like yours is genuinely helpful to us. We regularly use customer suggestions to improve BeHuman.Online, and these were excellent examples of practical improvements that made the platform better.
